In what has become an annual tradition at the Goodguys Southwest Nationals, all of the Terrific 12 award winners will be displayed together as a group inside the “Champions Arena” presented by the Street Rod Headquarters at the 15th Southwest Nationals. The winners will be coming in from all over the America giving fans an up close look at the country’s finest rods, customs, muscle cars and trucks. “It’s become one of the most popular even attractions of the year”, said Goodguys VP of Event Operations Harry Daviess. “To have each major national Goodguys award winner parked inside the same arena is a rate and special opportunity not to be missed. Adding to the uniqueness of the exhibit will be each winner’s custom wrapped tool box from Snap-on. Each winner receives their toolbox wrapped with pictures of their award winning ride.” The Champions Arena presented by Street Rod Headquarters will be located on the upper paved paddock next to the giant exhibit tent.
The Goodguys Terrific 12 awards are the highest honor Goodguys offers to recognize automotive excellence. In addition to being on display at the event, all award winners will receive a beautiful billet award, a full color feature in the Goodguys Gazette and in the Goodguys yearbook, a custom wrapped Snap-on Tool box, and of course, national bragging rights!
In addition to the amazing display of the Terrific 12 winners, the event will feature over 2,000 hot rods, custom and classic cars on display, plus commercial and vendor exhibits, swap meet, cars for sale corral, model car show, special feature parking areas on Saturday, make n’ take model car building sessions on Saturday and Sunday, and lots more. The event will conclude with an awards ceremony at 2:22 pm at the stage area.
Event hours are Friday and Saturday 8am to 5pm and Sunday 8am to 3pm. General admission is $18, and kids 7-12 $6. Kids 6 and under are FREE. Tickets can be purchased online or at WestWorld all three days of the event. There is a $5 spectator parking fee charged by WestWorld.
